Home >> United States & Canada >> Foreign Policy & Military Email Print Terrorists To US: Soon We Will Slaughter You Jeremy Reynalds, Ph.D. - 9/19/2005 A chilling video available on an apparently Japanese hosted Internet site threatens more terror on the United States. After showing pictures of terror masterminds Osama bin Laden and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3483089.stm), including an apparent picture of bin Laden looking benevolently at a child sitting on his knee, the Arabic video continues with horse- riding, robe- clad, flag-waving individuals apparently seeking vengeance. Knives are then heard being sharpened, and the words in English subtitles "We will slaughter you soon" appear on the screen. "Why?" the question is asked. Because, the answer reads, "We are not the half million Indians of North Americans that you scalped and this is not Vietnam or North Korea that you bombed – burning, butchering, deceiving, destroying, occupying; all in the name of civilization. All this and more in the name of civilization – your civilization." The tirade continues. "But this time you are fighting the Muslim nation. As you kill us, we will kill you. We will take revenge for our Holy Quran and our Prophet. We will take revenge for the things you have done to our men and women and children, and because Jesus is Muslim." The video then shifts to a number of scenes apparently filmed in May 2005 of hooded insurgents carrying out roadside attacks. Following the scenes of explosions, there are more subtitles. The words read, "We will finish your pigs in Iraq very soon, so we need more pigs to slaughter, After we finish with them we are coming to you. But until that time, we say ‘go to hell,' or we will bring it to you." The video ends with a couple of still frames with the words, "Remember. There is a man called al-Zarqawi in Iraq." The last frame reads, "I (sic) saware. I brought you the slaughter." The video was obtained from an otherwise apparently empty site titled www.mariyaguchi.com (at the specific location of www.mariyaguchi.com/cgi-bin/up_kjk/source/up006.wmv) The Internet protocol numbers are listed as ones that are easy to exploit for spam (www.whois.sc/rbl/?ip=218.219.194.58) The only information readily available on the main site is an e-mail address, tentel@yaguchimari.com. An e-mail to that individual asking if he or she was aware of the contents of the site was returned as undeliverable. A link to the video is provided on www.www.k-j-i.tk, a self-described "Jehad media battalion."
