Democrats make it a virtual secession from the Union this time

Mike Spaniola - 10/7/2007

Shortly after the fledgling Republican Party’s Abraham Lincoln defeated Democrat John C. Breckinridge in the presidential election of 1860, Democrats made it official: they would secede from the Union. Today, Democrats have effected a similar, though virtual, secession from the Union.

Democrats are now bought and paid for by international Marxists who use anti-war rhetoric to disguise a sweeping anti-Western agenda and support of pro-terrorist regimes. All these activities are well-funded, widespread and steeped in emotion, imagery and ignorance that inculcate mass fear, perfidy and hate – and not without precedent.

In the 1850s, as Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto began to synthesize modern totalitarian political and economic theories on one side of the globe, Democrats were fomenting an animosity and divisiveness in the United States unequaled until present times. (Using their current political tact, the Democrats’ uncompromising support of slavery would be portrayed today as more anti-war rather than pro-slavery.) Abolitionists formed the Republican Party and Democrats went on to form the Confederacy.

Following the Civil War, defeated Democrats formed the Ku Klux Klan in 1866 in response to the Republican passage of the original civil rights legislation that prohibited segregated establishments and made it legal for freed black men to vote and hold office. MoveOn.org is reminiscent of how Democrats once used the Klan. Democrats would disapprove of the Klan in public but give a wink and a nod to the group’s scurrilous activities in private.

Through the Klan, Democrats harassed and oppressed black men and then Republicans, Catholics and Jews. They controlled the South and made it virtually illegal for a Republican to hold office, and most black men ran as Republicans in those days. Today, Democrats have widened their sights, now that technology and a mass media has provided them with the means to control the nation, as they once did a small region.

As a result, we have cyber lynchings. In effect, former U.S. Congressman Tom DeLay, former U.S. Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork and even radio talk show commentator Rush Limbaugh are treated as Republicans in the post-war South by Democratic vigilante groups, including Sen. Hillary Clinton’s “Media Matters” propaganda machine.

Sen. Clinton’s attempt at a bloodless coup using the African American vote, in part, is remarkably Orwellian. Her party manned fire hoses against blacks, lynched innocent black men and still continues to usurp blacks, not only of political power, but their dignity as well.

Democrats now abet a de facto, or virtual, segregation through racial tension and mistrust, and, in some major cities, Democrats have again stripped blacks of property rights and the right to vote. From Detroit to New Orleans, Democrats maintain authoritarian city administrations that replace once vibrant neighborhoods with dead-end federal housing and permeate massive election fraud that continues such corruption. Democrats claim that more than 90 percent of blacks vote for them each election -- the same percent Fidel Castro and Saddam Hussein have cited in domestic elections.

Now that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is on a book tour, Democrats label him a turncoat who benefits from racial quotas while seeking dismantle affirmative action programs. Thomas, however, may never have made it much beyond middle school had he attended schools in today’s Democratic-controlled urban areas. Actually, an honest debate of the subject, and truly objective reporting of the issue, would reveal that generations of African Americans are beneficiaries of Republicans who founded most black colleges in the post-antebellum era.

Yes, some African Americans receive benefit from racial quotas, but that's just the price Democrats accept for the ability to pursue a larger, subversive agenda. (Consider how Democrats treat blacks or women who are not staunch Democrats: Ask Condi Rice on both accounts.) Democrats don't embrace diversity; it’s just a “bumper sticker” that enforces conformity in a way that Eric Blair (a/k/a George Orwell) predicted after watching Stalin in action. Vanquished CU Professor Ward Churchill used racial quotas to get hired, claiming to be a descendant of an early American tribe, and that's how Democrats use diversity to place anti-Western radicals in key posts.

Democrats suppress another daunting and damning reality: Obama is the first black man ever elected by Democrats to the U.S. Senate. While Democrats for decades elected and retained former Klansman Robert Byrd, not until 2005, when Barack was sworn in, had an African American male represented the Democratic Party in our country’s most august legislative body. So how telling is it that Democrats now promote a black man for president who has lived with a white family in white neighborhoods?
