Obama’s Dirty Tricks KO Palin, Israel & America

Yesterday we learned that Governor Sarah Palin, the Republican nominee for Vice President of the United States, had been disinvited from the anti-Iran UN rally this coming Monday in New York City that is being sponsored by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. Hillary Clinton had agreed to speak at the rally, but abruptly canceled her engagement upon learning that Mrs. Palin would also be participating at the important event, that will coincide with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s visit to the UN. We are shocked and angered at your decision, Malcolm (Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents), to disinvite this true friend of Israel and the Jewish People!

We, too, had invited both Mrs. Clinton and Mrs. Palin to be at our rally to help save Israel and America. Upon hearing about Hillary’s childish political stunt of canceling her support at your rally, we disinvited her from ours (see below). Our invitation to Governor Palin still enthusiastically and optimistically stands.

Malcolm, everything you do in your position of power and influence should be focused on preventing a second Holocaust by shouting: “NO TO LEGITIMIZING AHMADINEJAD; NO TO A NUCLEAR IRAN; NO TO THE DIVISION OF JERUSALEM; AND NO TO THE TWO-STATE FARCE.” Why are you playing games at this most critical time, when the survival of Israel and America are at stake? You have prevented one of Israel’s strongest supporters, a woman who may very well be the next Vice President of the United States, from advocating on behalf of Israel and America at your rally. Not only that, you have publicly humiliated her!!! How could you make such a foolish and destructive decision? And, you humiliated all of us…all Jews and non-Jews alike who are fighting the Islamic terrorists.

We want Sarah Palin to speak out at our Sunday rally and every future rally she attends, against Ahmadinejad and a nuclear Iran, against the division of Jerusalem and against the two-state farce. Instead of supporting two rallies, ours (see below) and yours, and two vital opportunities for unity and international media attention, you chose to support Barack Obama’s pro-terrorist, appeasement politics. You have turned the focus away from Israel – away from Iran, Jerusalem and the two-state farce –by shielding the American public from Governor Palin’s stance on these critical issues after learning that Obama’s pro-terrorist, appeasement policy would not be represented at your rally, through Clinton. However, Obama’s pro-terrorist, appeasement politics is now represented by you, Malcolm Hoenlein, because you removed Sarah Palin, the person who best represents Israel’s and America’s interests in this emergency, from the rally. And, thus, you are impacting the November election.

You have put all of us in greater danger as a result of this foolish partisan political maneuvering – the same type of plotting that has allowed Olmert and Livni to threaten Israel’s very existence. This kind of destructive behavior does not serve the Jewish People here or in Israel; nor does it help secure peace in the Middle East or anywhere else in the world, no more than do the policies of Obama, Olmert or Livni. Our policies do serve peace. With G-d’s help, we will demand the arrest and prosecution of Ahmadinejad, and we will demand that Iran be prevented from obtaining nuclear weapons. We will keep Jerusalem united, and we will make the volatile two-state farce a distant memory. You and your colleagues who lack the strength to act in Israel’s best interest are no longer relevant to the struggle for these critical goals.
